Building your new home can be easy

Building the perfect home for your family can be easy with Whitestone Custom Homes. When you get started with Whitestone, you are able to explore design options and estimate your home's price in simply a few days.

Many Build on you Lot builders require you to design the home, or get in drawn by an architect before you get a firm price. That can take months and lots of design fees. We do not do that. You will have a price on your proposed new custom home way, way before any design fees will be charged. In fact, we do not charge for the floor plan design if you close on your custom WhitesStone Home. When your plans are complete, and you're be ready to make final decisions about materials and design details, you'll meet with one of our Interior Design Consultants who will assist you at our Design Center. At Whitestone, we are there for you every step of the way.

Whitestone has become the steadiest, financially conservative, San Antonio-based builder by building our homes around you, our customer. We offer floor plans to suit every lifestyle and give you the ability to customize your home to fit the needs of your family. We sit down with you and really listen, understanding most importantly how to build a home that's just what you want.

As a BOL ( Build on your Lot ) customer, you have lots of choice in builders. Most big builders do not do this work. Most of the builders in this business space are very small, former superintendents from other builders that " think" they can do this all themselves. Most will not last more than 3 years. Where does that leave you with warranty work and other concerns? Whitestone Homes has been in business for over 25 years! We were built to stay. We have the most simple process in the business and have standardized many of our processes so you can breeze through your build.

Build On Your Lot Program

You'll find that Whitestone's Build On Your Lot program offers advantages that other programs do not. Many custom builders have an extended process involving third-party paid and outside-sourced architectural design, AHEAD of giving you cost estimates to build, which results in much higher prices because they build only a few homes a year. This can require many customers to pay for more architectural design when they discover they've unintentionally drawn plans for a home that is unpractical to actually build. Whitestone is not only able to pass our buying power on to our customers, but we also estimate up front and draw for free. This ensures nothing gets into the plan without our customers approval of the financial impact of the option. Total transparency, you will always know what your home is going to cost. Subsequently, we're able to offer more floor plans than the average custom builder and serve as a single source for all of your building needs. Plus, you will have the confidence and security of dealing with a proven, profitable, conservatively managed company.

With our Build On Your Lot Program, you can now have a Whitestone Custom Home built around you – in any community with in a 20 mile radius of one of our active locations.

To get started, you may choose from many best-selling floor plans to then make your own. Check out our "Plans to Build" page for a wide selection. These are not all the homes we have available, see any of our Community Sales Counselors for more detail.

Included Site Evaluation

We evaluate your homesite at no charge. That means we travel to your lot to assess additional site costs, possible location adjustments, soil conditions, building elevation, water and electric service, and wells and septic systems. This way, we can estimate the timeline and total cost of your home before the building process begins.

We will help you with the unique requirements your lot and community bring to the project. We will make sure you are well informed of the nuance and associated cost of the building standards outlined in your community covenants, steps you will be taking to achieve approval for your project, and the timeline on which you should expect to see everything progress.
